On April 16th, the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center, Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, and Yancheng Municipal People’s Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly discuss the methods of transforming scientific and technological achievements and jointly draw a blueprint for the high-quality development of the industry. Zhou Bin, Party Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Party Committee, and Liu Qing, President of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and Director of the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center, attended and jointly witnessed the signing ceremony. Luo Yang, Party Committee Secretary of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and Deputy Director of the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center, presided over the ceremony.
The purpose of this cooperation is to give full play to Yancheng’s industrial foundation conditions and the endowment of green ecological resources. Relying on the talent and technological advantages of Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute, it will gather global innovation resources, attract high-end talent teams, tackle core technologies and common technologies, and accelerate the high-quality development of Yancheng’s “5+2” strategic emerging industries and 23 key industrial chains, as well as the cultivation and layout of the “3+X” future industries. It is strived that by the end of 2027, 3 new jointly-established professional research institutes will be added, 15 enterprise joint innovation centers will be built, 15 projects with the combination of appropriation and investment will be implemented, 100 elite postgraduate students will be trained, and more than 500 enterprises will be served.
